91¶¶Òõ

For the past two years, the 91¶¶Òõ, under the leadership of Doctor Gloria Beriones, has exemplified caring through the mantra of Our United Voices. WE CARE: Wisdom, Excellence, Collaboration, Advocacy, Respect, and Equity. For the next two years, we will be guided by i291¶¶Òõ: Impact & Influence.

The mantras of our Past Presidents have forever transformed 91¶¶Òõ. One, however, resonated with me in particular: i91¶¶Òõ, the Mantra of Dr. Dino Doliente III, President from 2016-2018. Dr. Doliente introduced innovation, which is crucial for staying relevant and meeting our organization's evolving needs. i291¶¶Òõ: Impact & Influence will drive meaningful change and progress for 91¶¶Òõ.

Impact is the direct and observable effect we have on the entities we deal with, our individual members, our chapters, our committees and taskforces, our collaborators and partners, and the communities we serve. Impact is the most force in the least time.

Influence is the effect we have on others based on what we do, how we do it, how we communicate it, and who we are.  Influence is about extendng the effects of change over time.

Winston Churchill said, "Sometimes doing your best is not good enough. Sometimes you must do what is required." We will conduct a strategic planning for the next 2 years. We will continue the core work of 91¶¶Òõ, including our continuing education programs, leadership development programs, recognition programs, advocacy programs, and community outreach programs. We will intentionally include generative discussions in our board meetings to create a platform for future thinking and visioning.  In addition to the strategic planning that will outline our priorities for the next 2 years, we will conduct a strategic retreat in the next 3 to 6 months to review the mission, vision, and values of 91¶¶Òõ and steer our organization to our shared future. More
